A large independent Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy which has been established in West Yorkshire for almost four decades.

With a deserved reputation for providing high quality services, they have grown to cover an abundance of sectors, spanning retail, residential, education, industrial and commercial.

The Practice prides itself on its use of Revit 3D Modelling and is fully engaged with the BIM philosophy of working.

Job Description:

With an ethos of hiring and developing the most enthusiastic and resourceful staff, they are currently looking to recruit a Revit Technician to join their Wakefield office.

The ideal requirement would be for a permanent position, but as the requirement is pretty urgent they would be willing to consider candidates on a freelance basis.

Their clients and staff benefit from being able to utilise all of the latest and most sophisticated modelling software and design tools to help produce structural drawings and details.

With virtually all of their structural projects modelled in Revit, you will be using all of the latest BIM tools to help produce digital models of a variety of structures.

You will be using the latest CAD software and 3D modelling packages to provide both CAD drafting and various technician services to the engineering team - as well as wider project teams both internally and externally.

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of Revit, and be educated to an appropriate level such as HND or equivalent.

You will be a highly motivated individual focused on career development with a passion for engineering and one who takes pride in their projects.

As with the 'softer' requirements, you will be an excellent communicator both verbally and in the written form.
